• Name of the Society shall be :

      “Air Travellers Association” (ATA)

    • MEMBERSHIP

The membership of the Society is open to any person or corporation/organization who believes in the aims & objects of this Society and shall abide by the terms and conditions of the Society, without descriptions of the religion, caste, colour, and creed but subject to the approval of the Governing Body.

    • ADMISSION AND QUALIFICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP
      • In case of Individual, he/she must have attained the age of majority which is at present 18 years as per law.
      • In case of Corporate Membership- the Corporates can nominate up to five/ten individuals as per the category of corporate membership to represent it.
      • The member shall agree, undertake in writing and shall at all times abide by the terms of the Memorandum of Association and the Rules and Regulations of the Society.
    • SUBSCRIPTION OF THE MEMBERSHIP
      • Individual Members:
        • Admission fee : Rs. 100/- at the time of admission.
        • Subscription fee : Such amount as may be prescribed by the Governing Body from time to time to be paid annually.
        • Lifelong membership fee : Rs. 2,500/- one time
      • Corporate Members:
        • One time:
          • Rs.5,000/-[Category I i.e.5 members from 1 body corporate]
          • Rs.7,500/-[Category II i.e.10 members from 1 body corporate]
    • REFUSAL

The Governing Body of the Society may refuse any person for the membership, provided reason for refusal shall be communicated to the person concerned in writing with reason.

    • EXPULSION

The Governing Body of the Society may withdraw the membership of any member from the Society on the following grounds:

      • On his/her death, insanity or insolvency.
      • If the member fails to pay the timely subscription, continuously for three years from the due date of the paying the subscriptions.
      • If the member works against the Aims & Objects of the society.
      • If the member tenders his/her resignation.
      • If convicted by any court for any offence.

The reason of the expulsion shall be communicated to every member & every such expelled member shall have a right to appeal before the General Body which may or may not be accepted.
